“I was highly recommended Cath by my school following my daughter going through a difficult and challenging time when she felt very anxious, stressed and worried. We had tried different ways of helping her but we just did not seem to be making any significant positivity to her mental state. 

 

Cath from the outcome was just so lovely, she made me feel so much at ease, she was calming and very willing to help. In the first instance my daughter saw Cath at school. Cath was always  flexible in arranging a suitable time to have a face to face meeting that wouldn’t stress my daughter anymore by missing particular lessons or exhausting her for the rest of the day.  My daughter always came back from her meeting making small steps, but these small steps built into positive miles overtime.  

 

What I was very impressed with was that she let my daughter take everything in her own time and over Lockdown, texted my daughter with warm thoughts and reassured her that she was always there for her to message, face time or have face to face. Having Cath for my daughter to speak to has been priceless..... She has showed my daughter how to deal with her anxiety, stress, and enabled her to put into practice coping mechanisms and helped her to begin to deal with a tragic family bereavement. Cath has brought hope back to my daughter again, we’ve started to see her gorgeous smile  at times and helped her rebuild her self esteem".

 

My daughter’s  view: 

‘After being extremely nervous for my first session, Cath made me feel very comfortable and at ease straight away. I found it easy to be honest and open up and she was not judgemental at all. She gives very good easy methods to approach things that make a difference and I come out of every session feeling better.’
